Sammy is a graduate student in music theory and a member of the CSML at OSU. Broadly, his work uses music theory as a lens to engage in issues of embodied and extended cognition. His research interests also include the realm of eighteenth-century schema theory and performance practice. He has presented his research throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Beyond his research, he is also an active performer, having taken the stage all over the world.
